Event Summary

 

The Moot Court Society (“MCS”) of Pravin Gandhi College of Law (“PGCL”) has shown a new drive with one of our kind concepts known as "Happy to Guide" webinars. This initiative has a progression of online webinars by various legal luminaries who have made extraordinary progress and excelled in their field of practice. The MCS organized its absolute first Happy to Guide webinar on Guide to LLM and Career Abroad. The official poster was released on 16th July 2020.

 

On 18th July 2020, the webinar commenced at 03:00 PM IST  with the felicitation of the guest speaker by our Student Coordinator Ms. Saziya Godiwala. The online webinar was a tremendous success, as we had Ms. Sargun Parekh as our featured speaker for the day. Ms. Parekh graduated from our prestigious college and completed her LLM at the North-Western University Pritzker Law School in Chicago, USA.

 

During the session, the speaker shared her excursion from an inquisitive law student to a practicing attorney in California. The speaker laid accentuation on how PGCL laid an exceptionally solid base of her career. An overview was provided about the value of LLM, challenges confronted, and the scope in recent times. A detailed breakdown of various scholarships and general criteria was routed to the participants.

 

Participants were on the edge of their seats right from the start, looking for answers that could lead them to different opportunities and eventually lead them to a better future in law. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Saziya Godiwala.
